The Mid-America Banjo Enthusiasts Rally also known as the M.A.B.E. Rally was founded in 1974 by Don Gilbrech and Urban Holland. Originally held at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In 1980, the rally began to be held in Eureka Springs only on even years with odd numbered years hosted by other cities around the US. The event is known today as Banjo Rally International. |
