Kratoskai Kronies ca. 1972 Joe Manning, accordian/Charlie Pryor, drums & washboard/Herb Kratoska, banjo/Ruel Joyce, bass/The Tune Chasers Radio Station KMBC Note on back of photo: The Kansas City Banjo Band, started out in 1972 and named themselves Kratoskai Kronies after Herb Kratoska musician & teacher. After his death in 1975, they took on the name Kansas City Banjo Band. The Band played thru 2014. Herb was 62 when he passed of cancer. 2.
